Known as al-Faruq — the one who distinguishes truth from falsehood — his acceptance of Islam strengthened the early Muslim community, and his leadership became a byword for justice, accountability and care for the people he served.
The back carries his name in bold square Kufic — عمر — above UMAR in heavy block capitals, with AL-FARUQ · THE CRITERION beneath. A smaller Kufic mark sits on the front chest. Printed in distressed cream on forest green.
